I partnered with reporter Karin Crompton to produce this seven-part series on the hurricane that struck Connecticut, as well as Long Island and the rest of New England, in 1938. Karin conceived this project as an oral history to coincide with the 70th anniversary of the storm. She shot all of the interviews, I worked with her to write the narration, and then two had co-workers, Ted Mann and Chuck Potter, and my wife, Jen, do the narration. Rick Koster pitched in with some nice acoustic guitar, and I put it all together over several days of editing.
