My Labrador retriever is smarter than your co-pilot

This week, I took one for the team. In the interest of spending less on gas, my wife and I traded cars. Now I’m stuck in a vehicle that is a symbol of everything that I’m against.

With my Subaru in need of some major work last summer, I traded it in for a Toyota Prius. Winters in coastal Connecticut being milder than in northern Vermont, I figured I could do without all-wheel drive. I’ve been in the Prius for almost a year, and the gas savings have been great. Jen commutes twice as far as I do, so it seemed silly for me to drive the higher-mileage vehicle.
