This is the second in our Song Spinner series, in which musicians give an insight into their songwriting process and tell the story behind a particular song. Ben Parent of The Rivergods picked his song “Signs” and had the great idea to take us to the spot where he first got the idea for the song. We also visited the studio where the recorded version is being mixed, letting us contrast the stripped down acoustic version with the fully-fleshed out studio version.
